Opportunities for students to present

Student conferences and other presentation opportunities

There may be opportunities at your institution for students to present about math or gain experience teaching math. The math department may hire math tutors, and tutors may be needed by community outreach programs.

Presentation Contests

Ongoing Education / Semester Abroad

  • Budapest Semesters in Mathematics Education “is a semester-long program in Budapest, Hungary, designed for American and Canadian undergraduates and recent graduates interested in teaching middle school or high school mathematics…In BSME, participants will immerse themselves in mathematical exploration to experience first-hand learning in the Hungarian approach; then they will investigate how to bring this pedagogy into their own future classrooms.”

If you know of other good opportunities for undergraduates to present or teach math, please contribute them for this page.
